Not sure why, but I'm totally addicted to 'Itunes U' right now. I keep downloading series of lectures and playing them in the background hoping they will sink in. Now I'm on hour 9 of 30 in the 'Classical Mythology' series. I always loved these stories, though I wish the prof would speak a little faster. Maybe it's just my attention span dwindling.

I found out last night that a very dear friend of mine was in the hospital recovering from brain surgery. Fucking brain surgery!! Apparently they found an aneurysm and had to conduct a series of emergency surgeries. I'm relieved that she is okay now and recovering. She always suffered from really bad headaches, so perhaps this was the root of it.

I've been feeling very creative recently, which is good. I go through spells where I don't produce anything for months, then all of a sudden I start writing again, composing music, and cooking. I've been in a really foul mood lately due to my lay off and my 'woman trouble' but I think I'm maintaining.

I'm somewhat depressed to realize that in a couple of years, I'll legally be able to see naked pics of girls that were born the year I graduated from high school. Does that mean I'm too old for SG? Who here likes dirty old men? ;-)
