I see his face every time I look at our daughter. It's bittersweet. She is so beautiful, and smart, joyful and vibrant... It pains me that she reminds me of someone so dark and hateful. Someone that I have so many distant memories of good times with.

It's just so bittersweet.

I love turning down the radio just when I'm turning onto my road at night. I have to drive down a dirt road through the trees to get to my house, and there's swampy areas and ponds everywhere, so the night comes to life with the sound of peepers. It's so wonderful!
