My brain has been on comic overload these past few years and narrowing down the ideas to just one or two has been excruciatingly difficult. I eventually managed to come up with Wavelength which I am working on concurrently with Aphrodite's Favor. Just for the sheer hell of it I decided why not list all of the ideas that have swum around inside my head for your enjoyment.
Fan Fiction:
Shadows of the Bat: This I am leaning away from more and more. Kevin Smith is proving to be very difficult to get a hold of (not his fault) and I don't really have the patience to wait to make it. Since I resolved before the whole Fox entertainment issue not to produce this comic without his permission it is looking increasingly likely that this particular comic will never see the light of day.
From Woman to Cat, the Selina Kyle Chronicles:
In place of Shadows of the Bat is this origin story of Selina Kyle. Its along the same theme as Shadows but features all new characters and shows Selina's rise from prostitute to con artist to petty thief and finally ultimate cat burgler. This story will begin with Selina attempting to go straight and will end with her first encounter with the Dark Knight. Some of the characters include Lola Macintyre, Selina Kyle's long time friend and original partner (see The New 52 Catwoman), Detective Marshall Cruz, the first police detective to help Selina try and give up life of crime, Cruz gets assigned to track Selina down when she reverts back to criminal and of course Bruce Wayne who appears in both the beginning and end in cameos.
The Dirty Pair, Back to Basics:
This fan fiction reboot features a fresh, gritty and edgier version of the Lovely Angels as they leave basic training and become the 3WA's first Trouble Consultants. Kei Nakamura will be an amazonian brute with a knack for street knowledge and a nasty temper. Her partner, Yuri Orlova will be a super hacker and maiden of high society with dreams of gaining street cred. Somehow these two will manage to get along well enough to track down a smuggling ring on a newly colonized planet. Will their early adventures prove to be less destructive then their future selves? Unlikely. :D
Mass Effect, The Gates of Tarturus: Commander Shepard is dead and the Reapers are no more but the cost was staggeringly high. Over 60% of all intelligent lifeforms are dead and three, The Drell, the Hanar and the Geth are now extinct. As the desperate and the destitute fight for the scraps left over from the war the once mighty council is powerless to stop the deterioration of society as they know it. With the Normandy's crew now scattered across the galaxy in vain attempts to reestablish order from the chaos Captain Mogul must find someway to create a new crew that will live up to the legend established by Shepard. But with only new recruits and one veteran available can he make lightning strike twice? And what of this new pro-human terrorist group Tarturus? Are they the remnants of Cerberus in disguise or something much, much worse?
Original Fiction:
The Gods of Promise:
Bear Wingedpaw and Darren Wolfe were just your average Protector and Deputy in the Tribal Nations until a mysterious cyborg woman appears at the same time as a brutal murder. Striking a deal the three team up to travel from the fledgling Tribal Nations to the United States to track the cyborg and bring her to justice. Along the way though they learn that there is more to this cyborg than meets the eye. She is the daughter of science mogul Sebastian Reed and the focal point of his plan to save humanity from the climatolgical disasters that now plague it. Is she really the key to saving mankind or just a killer in disguise?
Soul Armor:
Courtney Conroy wanted nothing more than to rid the streets of the gangs that terrorized it her own way, one bullet at a time. Failing that she decides to retire to the life of a sex worker and let someone else handle it. However, Gator, the most powerful crime boss in Grayson City has put a price on her head and she has no idea why. P.E.R.F.E.C.T.:

She's filthy rich, heralded both as the greatest cybernetics expert and the sexiest woman in the world and is about to activate her crowning achievement the L.I.S.A. prototype artificial companion. However, when L.I.S.A. appears to be dreaming and she tries to stop the project Stacey finds just how fickle fame can really be. The Monster IN my Bed:
Rachael was just your average teenager growing up and about to graduate high school. Average in every way except that she had been terrorized for nine years by her pedophile stepfather. One night when Rachael tries to fight back a hideous demon emerges from her closet and kills her stepfather! Rachael's nightmare, however, is only just beginning. The demon is from a parallel world that has finally found a way to connect to our own. In this world are the lost souls of humans turned to demons and their newest recruit is Rachael!
Just a tiny peak inside my mind. :)
