My lady love and I enjoy expressing our sexuality very much and that includes with other people. Lately however, there has been some confusion amongst us about whether or not what we do falls under the polyamory label. We both have our own definitions of polyamory and the two conflict with one another.
Her definition: "Poly means we both date other people sperately."
My definition: "Any time we invite another person to play with us."
Now we have both enjoyed the pleasures of another woman in our bed with us simultaneously up to now but a looming question remains; "Is what we do polyamory?" The fact that neither of us agree has raised some serious, if overblown concerns between us. After all how we understand each other's boundaries if we can't even understand what we're doing in the first place? So my lovelies I pose the question to you. What does polyamory mean? Are either of our definitions accurate? Are both?
