I'm in hyper-emotional PMS mode today. I almost cried on the subway this morning for absolutely NO reason, then as I walked through the door to my office 15 minutes later, I was so giddy I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. I feel completely confused and at the same time entirely enlightened. All at once completely in control, and flying by the seat of my pants.
If you want guarantees in life, then you dont want life. You want rehearsals for a script thats already been written. Life by its nature cannot have guarantees, or its whole purpose is thwarted.
Something's got to give.
In other news, I followed up Monday's gourmet dinner with soup and hot dogs last night upon Dan's request. I opted for cucumber salad with warm whole wheat pita bread and calamata hummous. We pigged out and watched Idol and Maury and cuddled a bunch. At some point we polished off a bag of Hot Tamales. *tsk*
I don't have the focus for this journal right now. More excitement tomorrow, I promise.
