what a fuckin' tragic day in metal history...fuccccccccckkkk PanterA has been one of my favorite bands since i was a lil punk ass kid. This sux so, so, so, bad....i can't even explain the grief i feel inside right now....i'll always cherish the memories of PanterA concerts and coming home with ripped up clothing and an almost broken nose. THis guy was my inspiration for real... fuck...i'm so bummed...he IS the reason why i ever bought a guitar and day after day lock myself up in my room until my fingers felt like they were gonna bleed..... My dad told me before I left for work on thursday morning and I just cried. Was angry and heartfelt all day. Vinnie and Rita (dimes wife) are in absolute hell right now. Family and friends are going crazy as well as everyone who ever saw or heard Pantera play. I'm a bit young to have seen them play, but saw Damageplan in october and am glad that I saw Diamond and Vinnie play. Walk will always be burned into my memory when they played it for us Dallas folk. Damageplan is different, but they still kicked ass. They were definatley going somewhere.
I'll never forget the great times I had getting trashed listening to his music. The best summer of my life I spent perpetually stoned and drunk with my best friends just jamming out to Pantera!
