i want my innocence back. i'm going to tear this fucking country apart to find it. every building standing in every business center, every back country road. the say that home is where the heart is, but i haven't seen mine since that night that you left town. that night you collected your things and ducked my desperate lips. i'm off to find adventure. maybe i'll find my heart as well. we'll be partners in crime. we'll hold up banks, but never take the safeties off. driving down main street throwing cash out the open windows. head for the border, but turn around once we hit it. i hate this country, but it keeps calling me back. someday i'll have enough of this adventure. i'm going find an abandoned house on a hill to squat. let the grass grow longer than it should. lay in it and watch the clouds. looks like its going to rain. i feel the beating in my chest it reminds me i'm not dead yet. these trees spin around me and i drop to the ground. i'll never die alone again. i love this country.
