Try checking out the Masquerade for shows out in Tampa. Been out of the scene there for a bit, mostly in Orlando now. If there, try the Social, Aka Lounge, the House of Blues and just check for what bands are going to be around. Feel free to give me a email or something if you are in the area again, will try and help you out. Got me tickets to the Street Dogs tommorow night, should be a great show, have my rally scarf ready. Did the same thing when I finally got to meet Rusty P. from H2O last month. I'd bought jewelry from him a couple of times and he sorted me out while I was in Iraq last year with tunes, so he got me on the list and in I went. Funny thing was, I was like the old guy in the pit area and the only one wearing my old school hand DIY studded vest, was to surreal. But Rus was cool as hell, gave me his set list also. Stand up guy. Buy there albums if you dont have them. Cheers

I hope this doesn't post a million times like everything else has been lately (see above). I dug the coconut pun. My family is in Deerfield Beach. I go maybe once a year depending on how often they come up north. Florida is a nice break from the New England winter so I try to go in like january or February.

And yeah, I've actually tried to make an SG South Florida group before but they reject it cause they say SGFL should be enough. I've always figured if we get enough people saying we need our own group it'll happen. We'll see.
