So I was thinking about Vampires recently, as I seldom do. I also happened to come across this photo on Facebook. It's a vampire slaying kit. 3 crucifixes, 2 miniature portraits of Jesus, prayer book, holy water (classic), crystals (new age Vampires?), a knife, a gun a mallet and a stake. Naturally, in pristine condition.
But hear this, you know in the movies (not Twilight, for obvious reasons) when a crew gets together and they find the sleeping vampire, they plunge a wooden stake (not steak) into his/her heart. Why? Because that's how you kill a Vampire.
Wouldn't that kill a normal man, or woman, or dog, or anything with a heart, really? Plunge a giant wooden nail in there, here use this hammer. I mean, it would take a couple of tries with a starfish, maybe, but with a human pretty much game over. Same goes for silver bullets or even, in this case, a knife shaped like a crucifix. Wouldn't they kill anything?
Seems like an excuse to kill people with oddly shaped hair lines.
Thank fuck you were sleeping in a coffin, I suppose.
