@dicentra said to me to try creating in the style of the game Borderlands I'm a little annoyed that I couldn't get the face spot on but other than that I thought for a first go I did a good job of it.

ok I haven't been too sleep in roughly 30 hours (caused by my anxiety and depression) and yet I'm soooooo full of energy and can't stop myself from being weird (well, weirder than normal anyway) what the fuck is going on and why the hell am I talking to myself.

I will give the advice one of my professors gave me once. Do as many different things in art as you can possibly get interested in. Graphic design may be your passion but photography, sculpture, painting, etc. will only grow you as an artist. All these things are connected. For example, sculpture will develope your 3 dimensional skills. But whatever you choose and however much you may like it eventually it will become a job. So go with whatever excites you at the moment, you can always change your mind.

today I was offered the chance of being an apprentice for a Media and Design company and I'm not fully sure on whether I should take it I will have a guaranteed job at the end of the 3 year apprenticeship but whilst I'm there for those 3 years the travel costs would be higher but for the same wage I'm getting now, take it...
