OK, how's this for funny?
My attorney is gayer than gay, and so flamboyantly so that he makes Jack from Will and Grace look conservatively hetero.
As we always seemed to be at the gym at the same time, we started hanging out and eventually, took our friendship out of the gym and into real life - a lunch here, a drag show there, and before you knew it, he's become one of my best girlfriends.
Well, I see him last night and he's cracking up - his life partner (of 14 years) is becoming increasingly jealous of me and is starting to give him hard time, making snide comments and asking him things like 'oh, are you meeting M at the gym? is that why you are in such a hurry?'
I understand my boys' girlfriends feeling threatened by me (at first... but if they don't get it after they meet me... well, then I just beat them up)... but I've never had my boys' boyfriends see me as a threat!
Speaking of... I better go text him about the drag queen contest.

In other news: I realized on Sunday I was totally over my latest crush... to double-check, I thought about it on Monday... then some more today. And, yup, I'm over it. I think I've become immune to his pheromones because I'm just not feeling it anymore.
Of course, I could just be somehow off right now, and it could all come back and smack me in the face when I see him again. But for now, I'm considering myself in-between crushes. Yay!

I loved tte Muppet Movie when I was a kid. Was it Dr. Tooth and the Teeth? "Can you picture that?" I had a secret crush on the blonde muppet groupie/hippie girl in the band. Strange I am not a furry.
Do you often crush? Cuz I am coming dangerously close even tho your alka seltzer/rock star cola concoction make me wanna hurl and I am stone cold sober. Uhg....
