you know what i like? new socks.

there's still something to be said about the fresh comfort of new socks. you can't wash them because the spin cycle does weird things to the cotton and elastic. its like having plush towels wrapped around your feet all day. there's no lint to get stuck between your toes because they haven't been washed or dried. its impossible for your feet to stink when you've got them in new socks cause they still have that factory smell that's almost as good as the smell of a new pair of nikes.

i scored me a bunch of new socks from the swap meet the other day. i think it was like 6 pairs fresh from the downtown LA sweatshops for $2.99. the only thing that comes close from new 100% cotton socks from the swap meet are probably new wife beaters or maybe the 50 inch web belts that the cholo's rock with fashion impunity. a hundred years from now the cholos in LA will still be wearing their dickie's with a cuff and crease, nike cortez with high socks, 50 inch belt with shiny chrome buckle, and a wife beater. their style knows not the boundaries of time nor trend.
