Okay my negativity cloud is almost completely dispersed and thanks for your comments, and especially to those who showed concern in the thread about the suicide attempter. Damn that is why this site is soo damn cool.
It reminded me of when I was driving home form work and was tuning into AM dial trying to catch the end of the first wild playoff game and when I put the radio on seek I came upon a religious prayer call in show
The caller was a young girl sounded about 11 or 12 and she was telling the host about how she was depressed and wanted to kill herself because she felt like no one cared about her. Appearetly she had called in before to ask for prayers and the host knew her.
So the host asked her if she had a plan yet and she said she thought she'd take a bunch of pills.
After she said that the host then said" I think youre serious because otherwise you wouldnt have a plan. Now I think you could be also lying or kidding but I am not willing to take that chance. I know from your past calls you and your mom dont have the best relationship and she didnt believe you when you told her before that you were abused ( forget where or who he said abused her) but you must get her on the phone NOW so I can convince her she needs to find you help and make her believe it is for real, either that or I will call the ambulance and she will find out anyways because we have your phone number already and they will be there shortly so what will it be?
The girl was then scared and didnt want anyone to call ambulance and she defintiely was scared of waking up her mom to tell her that the host wanted to talk to her.
The host was amazing he then gave the girl a third option to go wake up her mom herself and spill her guts about the abuse again and now about the suicide plans and then the host would call in 15 minutes and if the line was busy because she took phone off the hook he was sending in the ambulances.
Turns out the producer called later and the girl and mom were fine and that the mom said thank you and that she now took her daughters claims of abuse and suicidal plans as serious cry for helpand that they were both going to a clinic in AM for help.
Now being generally cynical about religous type folks and their evangelical leanings I was so touched I couldnt help but cry at the conclusion of the exchange and happy the girl didnt make the fatal mistake. Made me wonder about angels and about how if there is a God how "he works in mysterious ways"
These are the same reasons though SG rocks its because it can make a difference in someones life even though it can never be a substitute for a real community, that is okay at least its enough for me to stick around...

I got a friend in California and another friend in Georgia I got a frined in NewYork City who I call its like they never change though they never stay the same and I feel that I am slipping form them all.

I love the juxtaposition of death/life with the female godesses.
