a bourbon, sleeping pill and music will calm any lonely heart...

current music that i must listen to over and over...

Pluramon

I've no idea what the average pay over there is like...but 20 an hour sounds damn good considering life is so much cheaper in the U.s. (i mean cost of living, not anything else blah.)

Me...I live about 20 miles Shy of Oxford....Uk represent and all that. Normally, there's a gig on of some sort...but this weekend is lame and absolutely NOTHING is happening....then I'd have to travel to get there...and I cant afford the busses and my cars arent working.

All of my non letcherous friends have gone away...so I'm just gonna sit around in a pool of self pity.

CPR on dogs? I never knew you could do that..well, I'm sure you COULD...but didnt think people would. Saying that, for 20 dollars an hour...i'd kiss mostly anything! eeek haha.

*edit* I love American Chopper...it rules. I have to write a case study about it as a form of documentary and how it convey's narrative! it was either that or Noam Chomsky's Manufacturing consent..which I couldnt get hold of in time! frown

Yeah, i've been to the U.s. before...AGES ago though, when I was like 8 or 9!

We did the lot..stayed in florida for a week and did all the parks. Then went to Yosemite for a couple of days and milled round there.

From there we went to San Fransisco...where I discovered I really dont like sour dough, rode on some trams and did alcatraz....and then to New York. (please forgive any spelling mistakes)

I'd love to go again. But I'd probably spend all my time going to gigs...you get SOOO much better choice over there than we do here!

I'll probably be living in the U.S. within the next 10 years anyway, so I'm not in a hurry to holiday over there at the minute.

Yeah, the 30's of the 00's are like the 40's of the 80's, so no need to worry wink

I'm kind of fascinated that an intelligent, friendly, gorgeous girl could be having a hard time finding guys though... it's like coco says, they should be falling in your lap. And I'm not trying to be a schmooz... it's just actually kind of fascinating. No worries... I'm sure if you go looking there will be plenty of opportunities.
