aight kids, updates on like, stuff i've talked about, plus some new stuff.
mmhm.
laptop...looking for new screen. they run about $140 or so which is a chunk o' change, so i'm looking into some really used cheapo ones from freecycle or craigslist or ebay or something like that. in the meantime i'm using every other computer i can find, which is luckily a lot because i go to school and stuff, plus my family has another computer in the office upstairs. a reason i'm glad i'm living at home right now...free computer use, as well as free pretty much everything else.
surface piercing. got it repierced today. i was really nervous for some reason..i got so adrenaline-y. while luis re-marked the spot, my palms got really clammy...it's was odd. but when the needle actually pierced flesh, my hands didn't even clench like they usually do. i just closed my eyes and thought, "this is just pain, just a feeling. i'm not dying, it's all good." the new piercing is a lot more snug than the previous one; luis says anchors stay better under scar tissue. it looks amazing. i'm going back in 2 weeks so he can check it out and maybe redo the other one; i thought the one he just fixed was a little low to begin with so he pierced slightly higher.
man, this is such a saga. but he's doing all this extra work to make sure i'm happy with my piercings, and that means a lot to me.
i hadn't eaten in about 3 hours, which isn't that long, but it hadn't been very much food to start out with. so riding home on the bus, i had an empty stomach and all these endorphins running through me, which, as you who've had piercings before know, is your body's way of keeping you from freaking out when you actually get hurt. i felt incredible.
uhhhh. i just looked at the new piercing; it's definitely higher up. oooops. but i guess luis will redo it for me. or maybe it will settle a bit lower, they sometimes do that too.
it would be so much fun to just drop what i'm doing now and go to piercing school. maybe when i finish up regular college and it's like, "legit" or something.
other than that...weather is funky today. cold wind in the morning, rain shower walking home from the bus, and sun now...
but that's just seattle for you.
i actually can't think of anythign else to say.
oh right, my birthday is on sunday; i'm turning 20.
20 seems old to me. but...i'm sure when i'm like 25 it'll seem like a bitty baby age. haha.
my bf is throwing me a party on saturday night...i want to hang christmas lights around his apartment, get a keg of PBR, have a disney movie constantly playing on the TV, and eat a cake shaped like a pony (i have a pony cake pan from when i was little). oh, and make an incred obnoxious techno mix.
but i mean, you know those parties that you go to and pretend you're having a good time when in reality you're surrounded by like butches and hos and sleazy guys and you just feel awkward?
i want my party to be the opposite of that. ridiculous and fun and full of good people.
i have high hopes.
anyway... later guys
ps. here is a picture if me and the biffer in case anyone wanted to know.
