Did the KERRANG! radio thing last night...
Left me with a lot of mixed feelings most of them quite misanthropic. Not that the gig was bad; quite the opposite.
Maybe it was the fact that the boss was selling the radio using terms like "product penetration"..Take one of humanity's greatest creations; rock & roll and turn it into "demographics" and "units shifted"
Even had the classic ditch- the-rest-of-the-band-and-I'll-make-you-a-star bloke approach our singer
On the upside we played well, the nerves helped for once. (Bit weird only playing 3 songs though, you're just about warmed up and it's time to get off stage..) Feedback was good and a lot of our CD's were taken. We shall see....
Afterwards we went to our singer's house
and listened to Bill Hicks to further feed our misanthropic feelings.
Roll on real gig with a REAL audience.. Roll on 9th of May....I'm ready for ya!
