Well here is my wednesday night poem. I have a bunch of friends coming out tonight and I'm excited about dropping something new. My mom is coming into town this weekend so tonight will be a little celibration on the Deep End as we get a little funkier early on in the week. The weather is getting warm, I'm starting to get EXCITED....I think I have an itch to scratch, anyone wanna help?
The Hawks Circle twice
The hawks circle twice then strike
With the force of might in flight
Dive-bombs the public with rhetoric
To uphold A New World Order
Disorder maintains the status quo
For the average Joe
Welcome to the revolution
Welcome to a world at WAR.
War brings peace
Peace brings power
The price of peace is steep
And builds by the hour.
As bombs of Freedom drop overseas
Democracy is left to Rot
In the heart of the American Ghetto
We dont live in caves
We live in projects,
We dont fight for land
We fight for food Stamps,
Beneath street lamps
We deal goods in barter
Even when it gets harder
And harder each year.
Both are worlds left in a land
That Time Forgot
Because its easy to forget
A people who want
To forget themselves
The attitude of
I got mines you better get yours
Prompts us to settle the score
With violence
Fueled by liquor
Fueled by guns
That the Master Class
Left behind.
Its easy to rewind
Through 400 years of Slavery
When Freedom is still a dream
A simple song to be song on the lips
When life become about the Bling Bling
They shot our leaders one by one with guns
Teaching us the proper ways to maintain.
From Melcome to Martin our leaders fell
And just to be safe so did JFK.
Its the dawn of a New World Order
Let us for get our ideas
Let us put away our dreams
But when money matters Most
Were living lean with insane schemes
The powers that be tear dreams clean
And leave generations with out hope
Trying to cope to get ahead.
When amongst each other
They encourage greed
And want to arrest us instead.
No wonder were dead
And dying on the streets
Alone, No identity to cling too
Alone, NO place to call home.
For what land is this that we own?
With foundations built on broken stones
Like homes we fall apart
With OUT our hearts we die fie fast
With OUR hearts we die slower
Wishing it was over on a four leaf clover
But its not because there is no way to stop
The dropping of bombs that
Aught not drop.
The clock stops hot
With the first gun Shots
Fired at dawn on the lawn
The paper reads
World at war.
But what war is this,
Because they still havent
Settled the score and are back for more.
Alone our government
Will attempt to circumvent
The proper channels called justice.
We scream injustice because we just cant trust this
Its busted, corrupt, and just plain fucked up.
As the hawks circle
With preemptive discretion
Their aggression will go unchecked
Unlike their forefathers
They use the economy
To enslave countries
Verses whips and chains
And wooden ships
But evil is evil
No matter which way you look at it
No matter which way the wind blows
So like the mad hatter late for the party
They started retarded to party hardy
And began to shape the way
In which the world works.
Because war works wonders
When the people under attack
Surrender, so just remember
It all comes down to this.
I hope you enjoyed this poem, read, learn, react. We gotta take a stand.
Peace.
