Did anyone see the latest Simpson's episode Mypods & Broomsticks where the make fun of Apple? I thought it was great, laughed the entire time. They really exploited all the angles. 
My favorite was the undersea head quarters with Steve Mobs. The terrorist angle started of well with Bart, but the transition to Homer was a little weak. No matter, the Mypod story line was hysterical and made up for it.

In other news, my DJ gig at the ski lodge went well. I'm going to plat two more show between the 26th and the 4th. I'm excited they asked me back so soon. The money is great as well. It's a real challenge to play there, as you have to play a mainstream song every third song or so or you loose the crowd.
Typically I play venues where I just go and do my thing without thinking about it, but here I have to pay close attention. The cool part is that I get play songs I usually only listen to at home like Classic Rock and Jazz, mixed in with old school soul and new school r&b. On top of that I mix in golden era hip hop and 70's dance and funk. It doesn't always work but folks loved it.
I'd like to get more rock in there in the future like Hot Chip, !!!, Bloc Party and Modest Mouse, mixed with some 80s and and dance music. We'll see. If anyone is new Hunter, NY and wants to check it out let me know.
