I've been following Vulture1 on the Inquirer but I didn't expect such a grand result. The blunt nose on the craft is certainly counterintuitive, isn't it?

BTW, the BBC link is broken, M'lord., but in in any case, I believe the medical term for the typical American decision makers is Fucked.

Won't it be exciting when I write all about it? Maybe not, but in the meantime, just thing stage magician as a metaphor for our governments and their experts. Noam Chomsky has written about this with great clarity, as you probably know.

It seems to me that Holst's 'Planets Suite' is an idealised depiction of the Edwardian English/Imperial upper-class man.

However, I'm not sure if it's the ideals of the former age, as in a way, That is the reflection of the ideals of the current age.

That is something to consider, but it wasn't all that long ago that gas was up to $4 or higher. It isn't even 3 here, so I think I can give myself a treat. I didn't go to this particular event, but I am going to go soon.

Well, here I am again. I found an old 3-month freebie invite/"reactivation", and figured "why not?". Couldn't remember any passwords, so here's a new incarnation. Glad to see the groups I loved are still there - though some of them seem a little hypoactive.

I notice that one of my previous incarnations has had new SGs added as "faves" in my absence. Hmmm...

That's what I always say when I get one. About 3 months at a time seems to work well for me. Enough for me to reconnect, not enough for me to become totally irritated.
