The DeSoto project has officially started, It is in the garage and the '48 has been banished to the outdoors. Now that the weather is nicer I dont feel so bad about putting her out, not like the rain ever stopped me from wheel time anyway. I picked up a 383 and an 8 3/4 rearend to keep the drivetrain all mopar, now I need a big block bellhousing clutch and flywheel to start getting busy. The Hot Rod shop is taking shape nicely too. I spent the day there today working on a '40 Ford. It is a rolling chassis now and we are going to set it up with the typical 350/th350 and make it a driver for the guy.
I think I'm going to need to cut loose Saturday night, hopefully some others feel the same way..........any takers?
