So apparently I am updating this again because I have nothing to do today and am trying to waste as much time as possible.
I was again talking about how we need to improve our community on CL, as a heralding call for the weak, tired, sad lesbians here. I got back:
411 for all the disillusioned.

Greetings Lovelies,
Every once in a while, among the posts for clubs, cryptic messages, men, and borderline prostitutes, you find a post from the Disillusioned; another poor soul who has waken up from their hippy fantasy, or gay utopia fantasy or whatever fantasy caused them to move to the bay area.
Heads up: San Francisco is a cute piece of property. It has never been "cooler" than anywhere else, in fact with droves of wannabes moving here year in and year out, coming, complaining, and leaving, San Francisco is certain to be a mere pit stop on the road to maturity for most. And anything but a 'community' ever.
The rest of us, just live here.
And yeah the South is so "adorable" isn't it? Cute accents and all. I think we should ALL MOVE THERE! And start a Community!!!
I'm sure it is waaaay better then "here"....
___________
I wrote back, "Actually, it IS way better than here, because they're nice! And your flaming, random bitchiness just proved my point. I use my middle finger more to flip off women like you than for any other sexual purpose."
My tongue is sharp. I use it much more for witty insults than sex now.
Oh I promise you I will get out of here. I will be covered in pus, snot, and shit when I do, but this school year will only last so long and around this time next year, I will be gone. I will go across this country, or maybe even to another one.
And someday I will return here. Forged by the sun and the wind and experience. We can rebuild her...faster...stronger...
Yeah i've awoken from the gay utopia fantasy. A long time ago. This has been nothing but a training ground and I know this for certain, and I feel it in my bones: if a young lesbian can survive the scene here, she can survive it anywhere.
