Her eyes passed through the dust, passing slowly like stone would; glacial, but thawing defiantly in slowest-motion. A potion met her arms; laughter divided laughter: something like happiness held lungless inbetween breathing.
I knew the lure I lost, swallowed my legs to breed stillness. Still, I wondered, what could lotus mete if I mouthed a shape?
I turned to returning, and she escaped.

That is exactly the way I feel!
It kind of reminds me of a little sign I used to have taped to my bathroom mirror -
"I take one day at a time because taking two or three at a time is not an option."
Thanks for the compliment on my paintings. Those definately are not my best, but they were being put in storage and I wanted to at least have pictures of them.
I don't paint nearly as much as I used to.
