Miniatures 2: The Red Pillow (Modern Pompeii)
In order:
1. Melting Horse (Libido of the Equal)
2. Duncecap (Skeleton of a Handpuppet)
3. Flat Vertigo (The Goddess of Severance)
4. The Red Pillow
the poem:
I will not look away again.
I will. I won't arrange
The virtues versus suprise
Won't count every carved
Hair on the marble head
And judge the halo
Like unsettled dust. Remember,
I asked, and shared the stone.
Each morning I turn to you
Having served error a smokey
Sleep. What happened to
Fire? I swear the red
Pillow against your shoulder
Looks like slight-of-hand of the sunset
But now it's day again, and slowly...
With just enough light to see.

Gaultier is another of my favourites; I love his aesthetic and imagination. I also have a weakness for the theatrical.
Your minatures are fabulous and the poem compiments them so well; it gives a further hint to what they mean to you. Obviously they strike various personal chords with their viewers too, so it's interesting to see how the perspectives differ and how they are similar. Very interesting indeed!
