(the jury of myth, page 128)
1.
You're cage
And so am I
Knuckles dark as silver. Pavement
Of cremation, the dust
Of celebration, stamped-truth
Between the boot and youth. ( I walked
Upwards a mile. I returned all the while
In falling. I lost my calling with a wet throat.
I learned of the layer, not the coat. It's cold.
"What is?"
It.
There is...)
2.
Fantasy is the feebleness of confirmation.
Think of long horns on a soft hood.
Think of zippers and rippers and the cordoned
Suture.
Think of the future
The sewing of the clock where it bleeds...
3.
Hand me a pen, my
Hogs and sows are running loose.
Burn another log and boil me a goose.
Tell me a story as I read it, need it. I
Wont
Or don't
Remember. Eyes
On my fingertips
Ears on my lips...

There's a movie coming to town next week about Andy Goldsworthy. I forget what it's called but I'm really looking forward to it.
I just came back after being off site for a while but man, is there ever a lot of stuff in your profile that used to me in mine.
I'm a huge Swans fan, I'm listening to Satyagraha as I type, the last CD I bought was CRASS - Christ The Album and there's a Schabel poster on the wall beside me.
And Kudos. You're the first person in 2+ years to recognise Clemente.
I had no idea there was Schnabel bashing going on.
Jesus, has art become like music where your image and "ethos" is more important than your creative output??
I'm not so much into early Swans.
My favourite period is the "White Light" era but I too adore Soundtracks for the Blind.
I saw the Children of God tour which at the time was the loudest show I'd ever seen.
I've seen Jarboe at a club in Portland and seen Gira do spoken word.
Gira is very, very imposing in persona but really quite easy to talk to.
He made me a little sad.
