In the metal belly of science
A glad-handed childishness will not do.
Deprived, yet cautious of it's nature
Deprivation would engender curiosity
If not so common, would be
A spur mounted to a tree
Where one would bring the horses
To make them rub there their sides...

thanks for spreading the word. is your friend a writer/artist?
Wols? wo ist Wols? the picture (tentatively titled 'Naked Body & Flaming Head') is by my latest recruit, a young man by the name of Harry Sanderson. he does etchings and digital art, and is also in Holiday Stabbings. a larger version of this piece and another original of his will be featured in the Winter Post. it's great to have him on board; now we are four!
i'm so gonna buy your collection. how is the courting of publishers going? much promising interest i hope. is it a "chapbook" (hate that word) affair or a full-blown book?
yes, here in the Midlands it is cold, wet n windy. tonight it will be -3, or so i hear. the trees are growing skeletal. i'd like to see a pic of your town if poss...?
so are you completely tee-total these days? i'm at that place where i can't shun the love of drink, but i anticipate the romance to backfire any day now, which should give me pause for thought...
Happy Thanksgiving to you, sir.
