So I saw Land of the Dead. It was good, but it left me with many questions. I can't wait for you to see it so we can discuss the issues raised in the film.

Yeah, I think the weird feeling is from too much being crammed into a rather short movie. Especially since there's a functioning society that has issues you don't get to see much of, and zomvie characters which is something you don't see that often. Let alone the "thinking, problem solving zombie" item which is of course the big new item in the movie.
Speaking of which: what did you think of the way the "thinking zombie" thing was implemented? And, as a lesser question, how long ago do you think the "Day of the Dead" was? In other words, how long do you think these people have been dealing with the undead menace?

Shit I forgot about the speeder bike thing. Funny story though, I actually did stab myself in the hand at the end of the track, but I forgot to turn the mic on so I had to do it TWICE. Oh, and I hired some guy to stand in the 2nd storey window next door and shoot me right as the track was ending, but he missed his cue and instead shot me while I was trying to eat my cereal this morning. But that was cool, because I wanted my breakfast to be an experience, not just, like, you know, a regular meal.

You know , I hadn't really thought about it, but there are indeed similarities. For one, you know how among the locals there's a sense of "We're all in this together"? Well out here there's none of that because EVERYBODY is completely oblivious to anything but themselves. And even then I'm not sure. Actually I'm not sure how else to account for the daunting number of car accidents I see out here.
On the plus side though, the scenery is REALLY nice here.

Was Garden State actually good? I had really wanted to see it cause i heard it was good, but Core warned me that it might be one of those movies that eveyone says is good that really sucks. So, we never watched it. Like Sideways. I saw that movie. It was alright.. but Jesus? I dont know why everyone has to shoot their load over it. It wasn't award worthy or anything...

What i've found as of late, is that I'm speaking nonsense alot. I've gotten so socially retarded lately, that I cant even put my sentences together right. At least I catch myself after a fuck up though... usually... like I was talking to Core today and I said something like "I'm feeling are very about going out right now" Not exactly that, but like, my sentence will ALMOST make sense, but my brain replaces the word(s) it thought it was gonna put in the sentence with some random nonsense, so the sentence sounds like jibberish. I caught myself doing this like 10 times today. I don't know whats wrong with me. Core suggested brain damage, but I think its just what happens when you dont talk to poeple for over a year.

I may actually add this to my journal too. cause.. um.. id be interested to see if anyone else does shit like this...
