God, I think your family are in and out of hospital as much as mine are, possibly!

My mother phoned last week, my sister and aunt had been in hospital (my sister with a bad virus and my aunt with kidney stones). My youngest niece has been in and out of hospital for the past year because she was born three months early and it was very touch and go for a long time, she's doing a lot better now though and celebrating her first birthday in the next few days. My oldest niece did a stint in hospital a few months ago also with a bad virus.

There's something in the water. shocked

School restarts soon which means that a whole new work year is also starting, its always depressing being at the start knowing what you have to do already whatever aswell as any emergency work that crops up (it will) I have to look forward to interviewing over 400 kids this year eeek not really a daunting task, but it goes to show how much of a robot...

Ah well, they say women living together menstrate together, so why not get pregnant together? I don't know it goes like that really; we had two people go pregnant at the same time in my previous job, and one them was doing maternity cover for someone else (same chair see?).

I hope the start of a new school year isn't too bad for you! that kinda sucks that you dont have anyone in to cover maternity leave, personally I haven't even thought about having kids - my career comes first, but I hope that employers aren't put off employing me because I'm female - we're not all baby machines! I dunno maybe one day I'll change my mind and have kids, but to be honest I've been rather put off by the idea, after growing up in quite a large family I think I've seen quite enough nappies and puke for a whole lifetime! Haha! tongue

The ABC's are only effective if the parent enforces them and uses them to modify the unacceptable behaviour.

Unfortunately where I live we are now on the second generation of babies having babies and there is very little in the way of parental education. It's sad.

That said I'm not making a sweeping generalisation of all teenage mums, mine was alright!

Gotta be fair, the toilet and shower arrangements at lowlands were excellent, real flushing toilets as opposed to portaloos and scattered all thru the site as well as having big toilet and shower blocks at all of the campsites.. definately going back next year, tho think im gonna take the bike to avoid the bloody airplane germs that ive now been landed with!! It's ok now, though. That's the most clear photo I have of it, there's others which are a lot more graphic, but they're sort of blurry - taking a photo with one hand whilst the other hand has a needle stuck in it is sort of difficult.
