So I've just got back from spending roughly a week in Los Angeles.
I'm back home now anyway. Back to the land of neds.

Louis XIV were pretty damn good tonight.
There was a fairly decent sized crowd as well which was good. I had feared that I'd be one of ten people there.

On Friday I had a wedding reception to go to. Excellent!!

NIN were absolutely fucking tremendous tonight. I had great expectations for this gig and was worried that I'd be disappointed. Not a fucking chance. Brilliant!

Another pretty quiet weekend.
Went to Russell's for a bit of a poker/beer session.
Didn't come last in either game so I was relieved. Christ I even took a few people out. Got in amongst the money (my stake) in the second game.

Not really had anything going on.
Saw Batman Begins at the weekend and I was well impressed. I'm glad the franchise has been resurrected after the abomination that was Batman & Robin.
Need to lose more weight. My diet's faltering and I haven't been going to the gym as regularly as before my US trip. Need to start being strict again I guess.

Work is still pretty shit.
Life is still pretty dull - especially when I've got no money.
On a positive note, my little cousin had a baby girl yesterday. No name as yet. My gran's first great-grandchild.
Also got the new Foo Fighters album today. Only listened to the first CD so far. Not bad - not great but a worthy effort.
