Hmmm just figured I'd check in. Been having some shitty luck lately. My truck is finally breaking down. Poor thing is almost 10 years old and has over 250K miles on it. I really need to find a full time long term job. It sucks being broke all the time.

Well I just had my 29th birthday on Thursday. 29 sucks because you only have one year left till you hit 30. I'm kind of behind where I was hoping to be by now. Oh well. That just means I have some catching up to do.

Well I'm in my 2nd week of classes at Sac St. I'm only taking two classes because they is all I need to graduate. My Biochem class is really boring but seems to have a pretty easy grading scale. My Cell Physiology class seems like it is going to be difficult but very rewarding.

Well things are looking up. I just got a new job. I'm meeting my new boss today for lunch at Mikuni's. Yum. I actually start my new job tomorrow. They moved up the start date from July 3rd to June 27th. I'll be doing biological monitoring for the emergency levee repairs. I really like the company so far and I hope it will work out....

I love the movie The Last Samarai. Tom Cruise is a flipping nut in his personal life but this movie is so damn good. I have it on DVD and I've just been hooked on watching it lately. The fight scene with Katsumoto and Algren fighting the ninjas has to be the best sword fight ever. I need a katana. Lol.
