good luck with the herb garden - - we've had pretty good luck with herbs outdoors [they can stand their own vs. the weeds], the other indoor plants have been fortunate to survive as long as they have.

GL with the plants - my roommate has veggies growing in the back - I'm afraid to eat them tho - god only knows what's been rooting through the dirt back there and using it for a toilet. Guess I will tho - sigh.

I worked my first WFTDA Sanctioned bout last weekend, and my second WFTDA Regulation bout with Angel City Derby Girls. Haven't got my eval for either game from our head NSO, but was told that "I owned" the position I worked, which of course makes me feel all goofy and proud

you're spot on about it being that time of year in the willamette valley ...i've been deprived of those two necessities for toooo long ...well, at least I know the summer and the sun will be here soon ...the other is anyone's guess
i had a friend on the eugene team and she used to keep me up to date on the team's goings-ons on facecrack ...haven't seen any of those posts in a bit ...apparently she's giving derby a rest and I missed the notice

Everything is looking up! I'm pretty excited. Even if it doesn't all turn out perfectly I feel very reassured that with consistent effort good opportunities come. I just feel encouraged period.
