Whataday. Why are the holidays never as fun as they seem in a Bing Crosby song? 
At least the day started out rad. I went to my Nanna's and made some delicious krumkake with her:
. We also wtched a lot of curling. I think I'm almost getting the point of that game. Enough that I went out and rented Men with Brooms tonight...I think I had too high of hopes. That, or my parents called to rain on my Canadiana parade with xmas plan strife right in the middle of it. Also, the Tragically Hip and a bevy of other CanCon crapfest bands were featured on the soundtrack. Way to up the suck. 
At least The New Pornographers were on it too, and they don't stink.
Watched Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. Saddest movie ever. Makes me glad I'll never forget this hunk:
