this week has been absolutely devastating.
sunday night, wilkes-barre lost one of the greatest kids to ever walk it's streets. hutch was someone that everyone knew, even if they didn't know him well. he always had your back, even if he only knew you for ten minutes. he was an amazing person. i only had the opportunity to hang out with him a couple of times, but those are some of my best memories. even just seeing him around town, he always had a smile on his face. for being as small as he was, he had the most balls i have ever seen in anyone. he would never back down from anything.. if there were 10 kids that wanted to kick his ass, he'd take the beating. he was just way too young to go.
the past three days have been pretty hard. we've all been there for each other though. it's good to know that you have friends that you can just cry with. i bet hutch has been looking down from heaven and laughing his ass off at all of us, and wishing he was down here chugging some sparks with the rest of the guys.
tonight we say our final goodbyes. its going to be so hard to just say goodbye and know that this is it, it's over. he's in a better place though.. we all keep telling ourselves that. we'll see him again someday.. and he'll be sitting up there with a sparks in one hand and a 40 of mickey's on the other.
rest in peace hutch.. you're gone, but you'll always be remembered.. never stay down!
