There is just something about spending the weekend with someone special.

Showing that person secret places, watching them enjoy them, marvel at them....understanding why they are special.

I forgot how much holding hands is awesome.
Sometimes the simple things mean so much.

Today, taking my munchkin to the zoo & meeting up with one of my best friends.

It feels so good to be free of the burden of abuse, the agitation, the irritability, the constant guilt & shame.

Freedom is hard won but so worth it.
