I wanna thank needie, NeBulous and Belial81 for coming into my signing - it was so great to finally see you guys face to face; I have a feeling I may be heading down to Milwaukee more often
The signing went well - I sold all sorts of merchandise as the day progressed and found some new readers that picked up my book. After the signing was over I ate at the Forum and went to see Land of the Dead with a friend - I LOVED it. It actually exceeded my expectations; in Day of the Dead I got a little tired of the constant arguing between the characters and I thought it hurt the movie; but in Land of the Dead the character's conflicts used less verbal and more action. And Asia Argento is my new favorite girl. Christ on a crabcake.
The political backdrop and overtones in this one was more blatant than any of Romero's previous ones; and his observations on societies between zombies and humans was interesting and...dare I say it...thought provoking.
