Appleton's downtown can get better. Don't get me wrong - Appleton's downtown IS improving; it really is; there are lots of nice places and knick-knack stores there; however it can get better. There are a lot of things that are holding it down - both by the city and by the city's businesses.

I've talked with Courtney - the owner of the shop I'm painting...

I will be in Artist Alley at the Wizard World Chicago comic convention, at the Rosemont Convention Center in Rosemont, IL; from August 4-7! If you're around that area, drive down, take a day pass, drop by and say Hello!

I hope everyone is doing well!

Mayhaps I'll go check it out...

Friday I went down to the New Moon to meet up with a client to drop off the cartoons I did for him and get paid; ran into Brian_XVX on my way in and we chatted for a little bit. Then I stopped into the House of Heroes and talked with Scott; he told me that Oshkosh has a "mural law" - where the city...

I think we have a mural law here too. You have to get a permit.

That sucks that no one showed up. If you ever have a thing in Madison, I'll go.

The Appleton Post Crescent interviewed me a couple days ago; I'll be featured in their Life and Style section on Thursday July 21st. The interviewer was actually on old high school buddy of mine - small world huh? Keep a look out for it next Thursday! In other news -

Last night my apartment hosted a wine party. All the guests couldn't leave because they were too drunk. I gotta say that just because a bottle of wine is cheap doesn't mean it's bad - I had some brilliant Merlot that was less than $6.00/bottle. I went to bed at 4am, and two of the last remaining guests were discussing the finer points of weapon...

I can't drink wine myself-it goes straight to my head, and pounds the shit out of it, causing an almost instant headache...oddly enough, I get the same effect from candied cherries, go figure eeek
wolfwood:
Thank you for the birthday wishes!

Vote for me as new owner for the SG WI group. Ballots have to be cast by Sunday.

Sunday, July 3rd, went grand. I slept in until 11 or so; then after killing an hour or two I went to my friend Tim and Lisa's house in Wrightstown to drink and have a barbeque; their house is awesome - it's right on the river and there's this long slope that goes from their house into the river; I wanted to do a bunch...

It's the "Largest Fireworks Display in the Midwest." There are usually about 300,000 people there, and during the day they have a carnival with a midway and rides. The fireworks usually last for at least half an hour. It's pretty fun.

heh, what an awsome obituary that would be though, if you died from somersaults.

27 and still a virgin? oh good lord...
I have a 19 year old friend who is still a virgin, and has never gotten past kissing and some breif over the short action. If she doesnt get some before her birthday next winter, we are going to buy her a chastity belt.

I may not post here that much this week as I'll be spending most of my time after work painting a mural then coming home and crashing. But I would like to mention one last time that I am signing my comics at the Lost World of Wonders in Milwaukee this upcoming Saturday, June 25th at 1pm. For more information about the store go to...

Booked another signing at Powerhouse Comics in Appleton on Saturday, July 16th at 1pm!!! YAY, I'm so stoked!!! I can't wait!

I saw Batman Begins - hot fuck on a platter was that awesome! Forget about all the previous Batman films you saw, THIS is the one. Christian Bale put even Michael Keaton to shame. Don't lollygag - get out there and see it! NOW!...

Batman AND Star Wars both turned out ok. I'm shocked.

I'm moving 8/14, so we've got less than two months left. As long as I can avoid her, it'll be ok, which shouldn't be too hard, since she avoids everyone already. I'm trying not to talk shit about her in earshot at least. It's hard because it's really frustrating, and I'd much rather talk about things instead of letting them fester, but I'm not going to go running after her asking her what I did wrong, because that just feeds what she's doing already.

Are you going to do any book signings in Madison?
