Man, I am such a lightweight. It only takes, like, three beers and I'm buzzing, three more and I'm stumbling drunk. Last night I went to a bar where 5 dollars will get you all-you-can-drink domestic beers; the bar itself wasn't that bad - the crowd was white-trashy but they played awesome music like Dropkick Murphys, NoFX, old Ramones...good times.
I sent in a quote request to Morgan Printing for my comic; my original request was 80-pages, perfect-bound with heavy-card stock covers and a print run of 2000 - and the price given to me was $1,500 OVER the maximum I can go! So, after that I'm like "UUUuuummmmmmm, let's chop the page content to 40 then?" and the price I got back was a lot better. Still, I'm going to be almost breaking the bank with this one; but I'll be shopping around for other printers too to see if there's something out there with a better price.
I don't think I'll be doing anything on Valentine's Day except gorge on chocolates, drink wine and dance in my living room. By myself. In front of the deck. Who knows?
