My New Years went great, I drove up to Minneapolis and kicked it there. I went Salsa dancing; thankfully I didn't clothesline anybody or step on their shoes - the girl I was dancing with was the one stepping on my toes actually. You know, if I did clothesline somebody it would be kinda funny in that slapstick sorta way, especially if the person was really old. Er, just kidding about the really old part. 
I went to the Comic shop for the first time in months - I bought my very first issues of Dogwitch (issue #14) - and I must say I love it. Now I'm on a quest to find earlier issues. I also bought the Pop Gun War, some stuff by master storyteller James Sturm, and Will Eisner's masterpiece A Contract With God (which should be required reading for everyone). Went to the New Moon Cafe and made some new friends - these three girls who were into comics too; they were very funny; I hope to see them again. I love coffeeshops, it's a great way to meet like-minded people.

i totally know them... the tattooed girl is stephani she hosts spoken word there... she is very funny... the blonde girl is sarah she is very cool girl too her art is pretty cool... and i think christine is stephani's girlfriend... they are good people even if tom waits sings "you don't meet nice girls in coffeeshops"
