So yesterday I was treated like a King by a new acquaintance of mine. This girl I met recently, Heather, asked me to help move her 4 ferrets and the cage with all its equipment to a new place. She said she'd treat me lunch for her gratitude; so we went to Famous Dave's (my most favorite restaurant EVER). Then we moved her ferrets - they were SO adorable. I'm a ferret freak, someday I plan on having at least 3 of them (along with 3 Irish Wolf Hounds, but that's much much later).
After moving her ferrets she asked me if I wanted to go sailboating with her on Lake Winnebago. The day was beautiful, I had no real plans so naturally I said yes. I met the girl's ex-stepmom, Bobby, and her boyfriend, Chuck, who owned the sailboat, and they were really awesome people; I felt like I knew them already. What was funny though is Chuck had a hairpiece on and it was painfully obvious. When the wind blew his "hair" would get messy and you could see the stitching underneath - I tried not to snicker. We got out to the Lake and it was so much fun! I actually learned how to use the keel to keep the sailboat moving. Later on, we saw a gorgeous sunset, the best one I've seen all summer. We got back on shore by 7:30pm, where Bobby treated me to pizza at a nearby restaurant. Mmmmmmmmm delicious!
After pizza Heather and I went to our mutual friend Lori's place to watch Hidalgo. My roommate Jerry joined in after the movie, and we all decided to go to Lori's hot tub. The hot tub was inside this detached gazebo that had a skylight where you could watch the stars from where you sat. We were in the hot tub until 4:30 in the morning! Boy was it relaxing. What a day.

Wow, what a day!....dude, i want a ferret soooo badly! I would teach him how to steal shiney objects and whatnot. Nothing says best day ever like hot tubs and ferrets.
