Soooooo, this whole thing with this girl I thought I was seeing is a total bust. Remember before how I said about how some people are hot one minute, and cold the next? Just as I expected, she's gone cold. She's been very dodgy with me on the phone, and because of her job and college classes (which are resuming tomorrow) I probably won't see...

That's right up there with my job puke puke A lady I work with once had a guy ask her to pose for lingerie out of the back of his van and of course she refused. And then he walked up our big grand staircase type thing and yells back down from the landing, "I've got the van outside," like that was some kind of incentive.

Go you not supporting icky huge corporations! smile
wolfwood:
And you totally should've sprayed him with ink and yelled, "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU." That would've been fucking hilarious. But then he probably would've just been like, "Why yes, it does," and kept going.

Holy shit am I pumped up to see the Sin City movie coming out on April 1st! Sin City was, by and large, one of the most influential comic stories I've ever read when I was 18, it's stark black-and-white contrast and use of negative space of the panels; plus its gritty and thick dialogue really opened my eyes to a completely new world of...

she died in a car crash near troy ny. it was quite sad actually... she was a nice girl and had a lot of people who really loved her here

Well, she called and canceled on dinner because she took a shift at work (she's a nurse's aid and works alot). Unfortunately she's working all weekend so the next time I have a chance to see her is on Monday. If I can't make her dinner then, then I guess I'll just make it for myself. I was going to cook beef strips with sliced...

I sure hope Monday works out for your dinner...you have a good menu set! smile
nattytattat:
How was dinner? Next time you invite her over, make some cereal and put Jack Johnson's "Flake" on repeat.

That'll teach her to not show up for beef and mushrooms!

Holy shit. I have just visited heaven on Earth. The photo set of Aiden and Quinne is up, and I almost died. They are so gorgeous together I could almost fucking cry. love

Speaking of beauty, I am now seeing someone. She's a sister of one of my high school buddies. Her name is Ashlee. Last Wednesday I went to Coyote's because it was my...

Yeah, sigh, the joys of dating (sarcasm). Finding someone who wants to be in a relationship is like finding a pearl in the ass of a dolphin. I don't know where I was going with that metaphor, but you get the gist.

I am wishing you the best with Ashlee. Taking it slow means the other person ACTUALLY WANTS to get to know you rather than just hopping in the sac getting the deed done and then splitting for a small eternity. The first few weeks-months are precious, I am sure you'll savour them. Do feel free to share details so that I can live vicariously though your good time.

Also, as always your artwork is AWESOME. How do you stay so motivated???

Sounds like things are going very good for you, I hope things keep up that way to...When is your comic available for sale bro?

So Saturday I went down to Milwaukee to meet up with some friends at the wonderful Lost World of Wonders comic book shop, then went to the new Famous Dave's that opened up in Milwaukee - MAN that place was packed; it's as if Milwaukee never had barbeque before. Then we all went to a couple bars - Country Clare (awesome place) and Bryant's (I...

I just ordered 200 mini-posters, 11"x17" in size, for convention promoting. As soon as I get them, if anybody here would like a free one I'll start collecting addresses and I'll send one to ya! Nothin' but love! skull

I'm still working on a T-shirt design; soon as that's done I'll let you guys know. smile

Ah, I actually sorted through all of the newspapers because I work as a photographer for a daily paper and i always take a copy of the papers home with me. For 6 months I picked them up without doing anything with them, so I had stacks of them everywhere! I need to save them because images that are prepared for a newsprint press are treatred differently them regular images- they are toned to a colder color temperature and they are very light, as the newsprint ink is dark. Thus, saving digital files isn't good enough- the paper itsself is the only accurate copy of an image.

nice pen and ink, by the way. keep up the good work!! smile

After I left Jason's place on Friday I went to Polly's to meet up with Shawn and his family for a Guinness and to wait for a phone call from either Lori or Heather. It was Heather's 21st birthday that day and both me and Lori (very grudgingly) agreed to take her out for the night on the town. But Heather wanted to eat at...

If I had a choice I'd probably only work at night and then just sleep during the day.

Don't break your eyes working too hard!

NOOOOOOO!!! So now i have to go see it all over again.. not that that sucks.. and Keanu is cool.. he gets a bad rap for those bill and ted moives and that damn chain reaction film. He's no Brad Pitt or DeNiro but hes good a actor in my book.

Lately my routine is going to coffee shops right after work and drawing for a good three hours, then coming home and unwinding. The coffee shop employees and regulars are starting to know my name.

My dayjob employer today had what we call an "award day", if our company meets our quarterly quota then instead of working we have a banquet and the supervisors give...

Man my company dont give a flipin crapola about us employees. I'm jealous man.. but that is a sweet deal..though i dont know if i could draw in a coffee shop. One of my peeves is people looking over my shoulder at my work or someone trying to talk to me while i'm into my work.. actually i think its just the whole being in public thing and me not like to be surrounded by to many. Keep up the good art.

Constantine is going to be so sweet! And so is St. Paty's day.. i cant wait for the green beer to just start flowing!
