So, the weekend happened. And it was good.
For the first time in three weeks, i spent the night out in my 'home town'. It was really nice to not have to worry about remembering where the hotel was, or how much money I could spend. Instead, Jason bought a keg and $3 got me hammered. That's becoming an all too rare event.
Anyway, I finally took a step into true non-monogamy and told a girl at the party what I was thinking. And, thankfully, it was not very grueling and she wasn't completely offended or put off. And, actually, its good to know other people still think you look pretty alright. I can't help but be modest about myself, since I have pretty solidly convinced myself over the years that I'm not that hot. At any rate, it feels good to buck that idea and to be totally up front and honest.
Aside from that, things were kind of po-dunk, but that's how Jason's parties go. Megan drops her "hip hop/country" bullshit on us and we just have to hang out and take it. Of course, cheap beer and good people more than make up for it.
So, basically this was a nice little battery recharge for the next few weeks. I really should get back in the swing of doing some class work before it all comes crumbling down.
