So yesterday at this furniture/ random crap store (the same place I got my religious relic awhile back) I found this amazing scrapbook from the 1920s. This women had worked on it all through college, with photos of her and all her friends, clippings about their sports team, cards, invitations, and even wedding pictures, all with handwritten notes and comments. At the end it said '1929 -- O years, be kind!' This one object perfectly combined my penchant for voyeurism with my love of random old crap. I don't think I've ever wanted anything so bad in my life. But he wouldn't sell it. I was heartbroken.
Lately I've been feeling like I have too much stuff, (which is probably true), but mostly I think that it's just that I need more space to put it in. I hate my apartment lately. I'm tired of having roommates. I want my own place to paint and decorate and love and walk around in my underwear in. Maybe even with air conditioning and a dishwasher. It might be nice to join the rest of the world in the 20th century. Those of you in the 21st century are just hopelessly ahead.
I found a job posting that basically describes the job I said was my dream, but didn't think existed. The problem is that the pay is next to nothing and it requires a time commitment that I'm not sure I could make if I were going to school. I'm not sure what to do.

It's sales for a power and telecommunications company. It's a long drive, but it should be a good job.
