Anyways, I went to Weight Watchers today and since I began 8 weeks ago I have lost a total of 12.3 pounds! Woo-hoo! My jeans are a little slimmer and when I squeeze the tire around my middle it feels softer and ready to be burned up! Ya for me. I'm proud! lol

That bites I'm with syntax... I like talking to people as I still feel like I'm in the process of finding myself but I sure do appreciate it a lot more when peole can just explain to me their beliefs without preaching. Doesn't mean they have to give up any of their own values or anything. A guy I worked with that I really liked a lot was born again Christian but he was really cool because when you'd ask him directly he's admit that he thought someone was going to hell because of whatever reason but would say that it made him feel very sad and that he didn't treat that person any differently because of it, but he 'knew' that the person would go to hell. Those are the kind of people I respect a lot more. He never sugar coated anything when asked, but still loved the person (hate the sin, love the sinner or whatever). I wonder if it would help if you just told your brother that you wanted to support his beliefs but that his preaching was damaging your relationship? Or if maybe you explained to him that his being pushy was having the opposite effect and turning people away?

But then my hubby took me to eat Cuban food. I feel lots better. There's nothing like having food you ate all throughout your childhood to make you feel ok again.
