yay, christmas eve is here!
I want to start this blog by mentioning the conflict in south sudan, and the other war torn regions of the world like Kashmir. on holidays like this one i cant help but think of all the people who are struggling and fighting for their lives and freedom while we celebrate joy, love, family and generosity. So keep those people in mind, and dont take for granted all you have this holiday. I know the holiday season is stressful to a lot of people, but please, enjoy yourselves and be thankful. there are millions of people who would gladly shoulder your holiday "burdens" for you in exchange for their burdens.
now onto the happy stuff! Christmas time is so much more exciting now that i have a little nephew. The magic of christmas has been missing for me up until last year. kids make it so much more special. it's renewed my holiday spirit. i cant wait to see the little guy tomorrow! but TODAYY, my mom and i are gonna be hanging out wrapping presents and making christmas cookies! peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate (a recipe i got from my friends mom when i helped her make cookies last week) sugal cookies of course, and ginger snaps! should be fun!
and in a mere 3 or so hours, my set Finite_Infinite by @rhody_ will be up in MEMBER REVIEW! im so excited, and my state of mind is much better today than it was yesterday. i think it was just because i am anxious. i really like this set and hope it does well. i also read one of @radeo's blog posts from earlier this month and it sincerely hit home and brought me back to where i was mentally when this journey to being pink began. reading what she so eloquently wrote... about why we are here doing what we do, what it means to be a woman, the passage of time and change.... it really stuck with me. she's a real inspiration. i would love to just hang with her and talk. she seems like such a strong, brilliant, well rounded and GROUNDED woman. everything i strive to be.
anyways, that's all for now! <3
