So, now I'm 20.
Thanks for the birthday wishes and all that. I had a pretty good one. Took Thursday through to today off work, which just made my life amazing. Got way too hammered on Thursday and had meals booked with family and friends on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tonight, I am back to work for a week of closes, whilst fitting in the start up to uni, which I can't fucking wait for.
I've been spending almost every free minute of my life in Glasgow for about a month or so now, and just can't wait to get the fuck away from this full time work shenanigan and attend uni again. This girl needs structure, and fast.
Other than that, I might be turning into the clumsiest person ever known. In the last 24 hours, I've managed to get on the wrong train home and end up in the most obscure rural area ever, fall off my chair and whack my head into the corner of my desk, leaving a bruise and a lump on the side of my face, and drop the biggest pyrex bowl of pasta on the floor, RIGHT after cooking it. Yes, the bowl shattered and my lunch AND dinner is in the bin along with shards of broken glass. Hurrah.
Good news, relating to music:
Bon Iver has released a 4 track recording on Myspace Transmissions. Sure, it's still just off the one album, but they way the songs are rearranged makes for a new listening experience every time. I can't get enough of their music, it's beautiful.
Also, a special someone got me a ticket to see Sigur Ros in Glasgow in November for my birthday, giving me yet another thing to look forward to and I can't wait. The bad times go so much quicker when there's something shining at the end.
Peace out.
