After a night and a half of almost 'sound' sleeping, I seem to be saying 'Hello' to my good friend Insomnia.
So, here's a blog because there's no one online to talk to, and I hate phoning people!
I find it hilarious to look back over old photos (and ones that aren't even THAT old) and remind myself of things that were happening at the time the photo was taken. For example:
It was the day after I came back from holiday in Spain (which is why I look like an oompa Loompa) and I was on my way to see Sikth for the 2nd and Last time. I remember feeling really good that day because I'd been broken up with the boyfriend for a week or two and had been looking forward to going to the gig alone, but circumstances changed at the last minute and he came with me. I forgot how much of an amazing time I had at that gig. Met the band (turned out one of my OTHER ex's was promo'ing for them and we all ended up in the Cathouse together) and just had an awesome time.
Then there's really quite a while ago and the obligatory 'Remember when I had Dreads?!' photo's:
Man, I loved them. EVERYONE hated them, except me. I just wish I wasn't such a clean freak and I would've kept them. I remember I had to take THE BIGGEST decision of either getting a new tattoo or getting my dreads, and I was totally stuck. The only reason I got them was because my tattoo place was shut the day I was in town about a consult and I went to get a consult on my hair instead.
God... I have photo's that go back to when I was still at school I must've been about 16 here, at my leaver's dance:
As I pulled up to the Hilton, all the other kids were pointing me out and the fact that I WASN'T wearing black (I was going through my awkward time, so shut it ) and we all 'so amazed' at the transformation into a 'girl'. Kinda weird how 'natural' I was back then. I mean, no tattoo's. No hair dye (in fact, I'd never dyed my hair before). Freaks me out a little!
This one's from almost exactly a year ago:
Me and the 'ol boy. Like you'd NEVER be able to guess he was my dad, eh? /SARCASM
I'd not long been broken up from the boyfriend at the time, and my dad had just bought a new house in Spain, so I decided to splurge my holiday earnings on flights over there for 10 days with him, his wife and her sister. As lame as it sounds, I had a pretty good time. I just totally relaxed and chilled out. As a massive Daddy's Girl I felt awesome because my brother wasn't there and I got all the attention.
Ok, ok, last one, from only about 7 or 8 months ago:
That night I got so wrecked that I got in the boot of a taxi and got taken to a friends house about 15 miles away. It was surprisingly fun, and the best bit was I didn't have to pay for the ride. Honestly.
Now it's just left 5am and I feel like I've adequately taken up some time doing this.
Meh.

You're very beautiful, no matter what picture you're in Faye.
And you have my number, you can call me whenever you need to talk - 'bout anything.
Okay?
I don't offer my number as a line, you know. I mean what I say. . . (unless I'm getting married, apparently).
