First the good news:
As some of you may know I bought a new camera. Last Tuesday Daniel and I went and shot The Yard Dogs Road Show at Bender's Tavern. We were acompanied by the lovely Amy and Angela. What a great time! If they come to your town you should deffiantely check them out. Burlesque, rock n' roll, vaudville and sword swallowing, how the hell can you beat that? I had so much fun shooting this show. For a while now I've been thinking that shooting live performance would be the perfect combination of my love of music and photography. I was so jazzed about the entire experience. Here are some shots.
There are tons more in my pics section. Check 'em out and let me know your thoughts.
On to the not as good news:
As most of you know I fell of my roof and have been out of work for the better part of the last month. This week was my first full week back to work. It was deffinately an asskicker. I enjoyed getting payed to stay home. If I could have found a way to do that with out the excruciating pain I would have been set.
Hope you all are well. Thanks to everyone who popped in to say happy birthday to me last week. All you crazy kids who stopped by the house last weekend, thank you for making my birthday party a memorable one.
Good to have Bret back in town for a bit. I like that kid a lot.
The Hank III show was awesome. I had a great time seeing the usual cast of characters there. I'm going to have to remember to start taking my camera every where, just in case I can shoot.
Well, me and the Little Lady are off to get brunch. Baccon tastes good!
