Hope you are having a great weekend. I hope your date went well. (I'm sure it did) You know I'm gonna want all the details.

Friday? I don't even keep track of my days anymore. It always seems like Friday for me. Hopefully I'll find a job soon (one that I really will like, and won't want to quit after a month) and that will straighten out my days running together.

Don't give up on flakey people. Being one myself, I will say that it's not worth it in the long run. I'm always deciding at the last minute, that I'm not going to show up or anything, not even call. Sure it's a pain in the ass to my friends, but when I do decide to hang out, I'm in a great mood, and super rad to be around, so it's worth it for all those times I bailed out.

I've had to do a lot of the "letting people go" thing lately. It's not a bad thing and don't feel awful for doing it. People constantly change and grow. Your just not in the same place as you were when you "knew" those friends. What I've learned by doing this is that 90% of the time, those friends feel the same way as you do.

I'm glad you had a great time at the beach. I really miss being able to walk across the street to it like I did in FL. Your so lucky. I hope you caught some good waves.

Being that I have a couple flaky friends as well..... I have learned to keep asking them & just never count on them. That way I'm never disappointed & what a nice surprise if they actually follow thru.
Now if they're flaky on the subject of responsiblilties, that just pisses me off & slowly drops their status of friend until it is no longer.

Sorry, I'm not in a very 'book' kind of place. It's finally nice weather here so I'm trying to stay active. But in the fall I will probably have some good recommendations.
