Its been awhile since I've even been on this site. I'm leaving it. Its just a money drain for not so interesting photography anymore.
...plus, what's the point of a social networking site where nearly everyone seems to have a 'better than you' attitude? I have plenty of other things to do and people to see... I don't believe that I've really gained much from this place.
Minor rant: I really am irritated by the SGCO group. They always are bitching about activity and such... then the few times I've posted on there or posted an event, or even gone to an event, no one's there. What encouragement does a new user even have? It seems like the only way to really truly be accepted in their elitist group is to either pose for the site, take pictures for someone who poses for the site, post in every single thread, or have known them all for forever. Its all very high-school. Only naked, tattooed girls are the cheerleaders. And greasy guys with cameras are the football players. Come to think of it, that seems almost like what most of life is.
...in any case, I'll just end it in the immortal words of Johnny Rotten (well, one word anyway)... "BORING!"
