So, it's definitely time for a happy blog...
Life has been crazy insane lately... I got a ton done yesterday, and it still seems like I didn't do everything that I could have. On the happy end of things, I shot/handled a handgun for the first time. No, this doesn't mean that I'm going to be turning into some sort of gun-fanatic or anything.... I'm just pleased to know that in the extreme circumstance that I need to fire a sidearm and have one available to me, I can do it... And suprisingly well, I might add..
My cheesecake was a nearly total success! Yay for learning to cook on my own. In retrospect, I could have baked it for longer, but it turned out very yummy anyhow.
I feel almost like the craziness is absorbing all of my time, and am probably going to swing into a antisocial period again soon-ish. I had nearly no downtime yesterday, and today, it seems, is going to be the same. I'm okay with it, it just gets a little frustrating sometimes when I am planning on just zoning out infront of the the idiot box playing a little X-Men: Legends, and it turns out that really, I'll be spending the whole night out. Meh, oh well, at least I'm getting my social points out of the way....
...Speaking of X-Men... The third movie (officially titled, The Last Stand, but still called by many X:3) was very entertaining. BUT (and this is a big butt.... I like big butts, and I cannot lie...) it did nothing to follow in even the slightest regard anything from the comics or cartoons. There were so many discrepancies, it was uncanny. Again, entertaining, but it left the X-Men lover something to be desired.
Now that I've spazzed out on here for a little bit, I think I'll go relax a little bit more before my plans for the night commence.
Cheers!
