Yeah, Stereolab is amazing.
There the one band that always satisfies no matter what mood I'm in.
I tend to spend more time deciding what music I want to listen to than actually listening (well, not really - but you probably know what I mean).
I love how intellectual it is without being condescending.
And hypnotic without being repetitive.
And of course, that voice!

Notice you like Rothko and Pollock too.
I used to volunteer at a gallery with one of each.
My "job" was to help people realise these weren't just blocks of colour or scribbles!!
